KRIS

BASE Co founder & Senior Team  Captain

I am one of the co-founders of Bay Area Supernatural Encounters. We established our team in 2009 when I had the incredible fortune of meeting some like-minded individuals who shared a passion for not only prowling in the dark but also helping people. I also spend a great amount of time raising money for the American Cancer Society. I enjoy relaxing at home with my family watching movies which is my favorite past time.

I was introduced into the world of the paranormal at a very young age. My Grandmother lived in a house full of interesting items from all over the world. I learned early that homes have a history but so do certain items. Activity happened more frequently as more items were accumulated. Items in the house were moved, doors opened, and sounds were heard throughout the house. Nothing threatening ever happened to me in this house but I opened myself to the realm of the paranormal. I started researching information on topics from demonology to residual hauntings. Later in my life I experienced a great amount of activity at a place where I worked. I was able to witness shadows, voices, and items moving again. At this time I decided to set out on my own to visit the most haunted places in America. I wanted to know if the things that I experienced were something more than the imagination of a child in the dark or a man that looked too hard to find something.

During my travels I was able to meet many people who experienced similar happens. Some of these people experienced events that terrified than daily. I decided that I would do my best to help those in need. Some people needed reassurance and some needed to be shown that the things happening to them had some very normal causes. Everyone experiencing something like this is looking for something different. My team and I came together because we feel that we can offer something for everyone. All of our different experiences make us a team ready to handle almost any situation.
